Thursday, Nov 10 – Chris Janson
Warner Bros. Records/Warner Music Nashville country artist Chris Janson was born to entertain crowds. Last year, his breakthrough #1 Platinum single “Buy Me A Boat” was the 7th bestselling country song of the year, although his professional music career began more than 10 years ago. The “Holdin’ Her” singer has written multiple top-charting hits including “Truck Yeah”, “That’s How I’ll Always Be” (both Tim McGraw), “I Love This Life” (LoCash) and over 25 additional hit songs recorded by a long list of established artists. Janson has been nominated for multiple awards and won Country Song of the Year at the iHeartRadio Music Awards. Janson is currently featured in the Country Music Hall of Fame as part of the ACM Gallery. He plays every instrument on stage, and is best known for his signature harmonica playing. Janson has played the Grand Ole Opry more than 145 times to date, and made numerous television appearances including: The Tonight Show, Late Night with Seth Meyers, Conan and The Today Show.
Friday, Nov 11 – Brett Kissel
The reigning CCMA Fan’s Choice and Male artist, the pride of Flat Lake, Alberta, Brett Kissel has already reached a place very few other Canadian country music artists have attained. But defying the odds has been Kissel’s mission his entire life, the result of a tireless work ethic instilled while growing up on his family’s farm. Two hit album releases, eight consecutive Top 10 radio hits, a #1 song, and two #1 music videos prove that, like a thoroughbred just out of the gate, Kissel is hitting his stride. And Canada has taken notice, honoring Kissel with a JUNO Award for Breakthrough Artist (the first time in 17 years a country act earned the honour), a Canadian Radio music award and six CCMA wins.
Saturday, Nov 12 – High Valley
By combining their bluegrass roots with a modern pulse, brothers Brad and Curtis Rempel create music that feels both fresh and timeless. Their energetic attack, as heard in their debut single “Make You Mine” is mirrored by the determination and confidence in their lyrics. Brad and Curtis have played at the Grand Ole Opry and were fortunate to be accompanied in the hallowed circle by one of their biggest influences, Ricky Skaggs. While their upbringing in a close-knit remote community didn’t exactly acquaint them with all of popular music, it did help cement the musical ideals and love of simple, classic country that still inform the two-time CCMA Group/Duo of the Year to this day. They are currently working on their new album due in 2016.Get Tickets
